Admission Requirements

Applicants must provide the following:
  • A completed formal application form, supplied by the Enrollment Services Office. The form also is available online at www.valorcollege.com. The application must be accompanied by a $50 non-refundable application fee ($75 non-refundable application fee for international students). Applications should be received by the appropriate deadline (July 15 for the next fall semester; Nov. 15 for the next spring semester, April 1 for the next summer session).
  • The applicant’s personal testimony, which should be typed and consist of 300 to 500 words. Please give attention to typing and grammar.
  • An official copy of the applicant’s high school transcript, which must include the date of graduation.
  • An official transcript from any other college or university the applicant has attended. A student who has received student financial aid in the past must also file a financial aid transcript. No financial aid will be considered until the application is complete.
  • A pastoral recommendation from the applicant’s present pastor. This person must not be a member of the applicant’s immediate family.
  • A score for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), if the student is from a nation where English is not the primary language. Proficiency in English will be demonstrated by the score on that test. The VCC code number for TOEFL is available upon request in the Academic Office.
